This is my 20th year teaching in the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools! I was at Lincoln my first year then spent 11 years teaching at Bolich Middle School and moved here to Richardson seven years ago. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education 1-8 and a Master's Degree in Reading.
I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for 20 years. He is the Chief Operating Officer of TTR Shipping in Stow. We have three boys. Jeremy is 15 and is a sophomore in high school this year (and will be getting his temps soon, eek). He loves to play baseball. Jackson is 12 and in 6th grade. He loves school, is very artistic and plays piano, violin and percussion. Kaden is 9 and in 3rd grade. He loves to play football, baseball, and basketball.

Reading Minutes Calendar
|
Students should be reading at least 20 minutes a night, five nights a week. 4th graders are expected to keep track of their minutes read outside of school on the monthly calendar in their assignment book. Reading can be done in any way (read to self, read to someone or listen to reading). At the end of each month, the calendar will be checked by Mrs. Moore and is counted as a grade. For every 100 minutes read, students earn a book bead for their necklace in Mrs. Moore's room. From October through March, students also have the opportunity to earn a FREE personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut by meeting or exceeding the minute goal set by Mrs. Moore!

Library
All 4th Graders will go to library every other Tuesday during their Language Arts class. Our library is run by parent volunteers. If you're interested in helping in the library you can email Mrs. Lindy, at [email protected].
